Meet The Host
Howdy, I’m Daniel, host of Wondering Knowhere.

I have worked far too long in the tech industry and now I'm chasing entrepreneurship for the sake of my own self-interest, dreams, and curiosity.

I reside in Austin, TX, with two black cats, and enjoy reading, kayaking, D&D, improv, social dancing, film and television, video games, kink and intimacy, and The Wheel of Time.

Why I created this podcast
I created this show because I am ceaselessly curious, curious as a little monkey named George, curious as a cat, Curious with a capital C, and I seek satisfaction.
I perpetually wonder about the world and the people it in, and I love to learn through history, culture, literature, philosophy, science, technology, games, theatre, storytelling, and conversations with interesting people.
I want to talk with fascinating people and amplify voices that celebrate communication, connection, and consent. This podcast is my forum against the loud, angry corners of the internet that thrive on fear, hate, and the suffering of others. I believe empathy is an act of rebellious courage in a world that insists it is madness to care for strangers. I follow my curiosity with intention, letting it lead me through strange and delightful labyrinths full of wisdom and meaning to marvel at the wondrous variety and absurdity of humanity.

And I hope to spark your curiosity, joy, and gratitude along the way.
Vision
A world where curiosity and empathy are exercised with intention, and wonder and whimsy are not lost, but cultivated like a garden.

Mission
To create a platform and community for like-minded wonderers who thrive on discovery and seek to explore meaning and being together.
